Pre-Conference events begin Jan. 26, including a full-day Assessors Renewal class, an intensive grant writing series (led by renowned grants guru Dr. Beverly Browning, author of Grant Writing for Dummies), and two Township Governance Academy (TGA) courses. Give Back, Give Blood
Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like YOU who makes the choice to donate. Please join MTA as we support the American Red Cross in its mission to maintain a safe, stable blood supply by making an appointment to donate blood during the Conference. MTA's blood drive is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 26 and Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. MTA asks that donors register in advance online at www.givelife.org (enter sponsor code MTA), or by calling (800) GIVE-LIFE.
Win a Free Breakfast! Donors from the county that donates the most blood will be invited to join MTA President Colleen Schwartz and MTA Executive Director Larry Merrill for a special breakfast in your honor on Friday, Jan. 29.
