Who has the money? What is the funding priority? How do political connections impact the decision-making process for grant awards? Participate in a live Internet funding search exercise demonstrating how to find grant monies and learn to think creatively, track funding trends, find pass-through funding opportunities, identify matching funds, and leverage resources to go after the illusive shrinking federal dollar.

What do we have to write to get the money? Gain insight into effective writing techniques as you fine-tune your federal grant writing skills.
Don't miss this intensive series led by renowned grants guru Dr. Beverly A. Browning, who has been a presenter, consultant and author on the topic of grant writing for 35 years.
The Township Governance Academy (TGA) is a voluntary credentialing program intended to give township board members and other local leaders the knowledge and skills needed to make effective decisions for the benefit of their township. Earn up to 8 credits by participating in this pre-Conference program. Courses include:

Institutes Designed for Township Auditors and Attorneys
Held in conjunction with the MTA Conference, the Legal Institute for Township Attorneys and the MTA Auditor Institute will both take place on Tuesday, January 26. These one-day programs are perfect opportunities for township auditors and attorneys to hear about the latest issues affecting township government and further their professional development. Township officials are welcome to attend these educational events as well.
