Professional Development Retreat Sponsor Information

Professional Development Retreats Vendor FAQs
Q. What are Professional Development Retreats?
A. Professional Development Retreats are education and information-intense trainings designed specifically for each township office plus the planning and zoning team held over two days. We build in plenty of time for education, networking, vendor interaction and some fun!
 
Q. What is Vendor Showcase?
A. Vendor Showcase is held at each retreat and is a great chance for your company to network with township officials and decision-makers throughout the day. Bring a table-top or free-standing display and benefit from exclusive face-to-face time with local leaders.
 
Q. Is the Vendor Showcase on both days?
A. No, Vendor Showcases are one day each. The schedule is:
Sept. 30: Clerks’ Retreat
Oct. 1: Treasurers’ Retreat
Oct. 15: Supervisors’ Retreat
Oct. 28: Trustees’ Retreat
Oct. 29: Planning & Zoning Team Retreat
 
Q. What are the sponsorship opportunities?
A. General Retreat sponsorships include promotion at all five retreats, for one affordable price. Sponsorship gives your company visibility right away through MTA’s website and print materials, signage and recognition at each event, complimentary registration to Vendor Showcase and option to attend dinner, evening activity, educational sessions, and more. Sponsorship must be received by June 20 to be included in the registration brochure mailed to each office. Details are available here. (You do not need to be present to sponsor.)
 
Q. How much does it cost?
A. The cost for retreat sponsorships is just $2,000—which gets you a Vendor Showcase spot and recognition at all five Retreats*! The cost for Vendor Showcase is $100/site for the first representative. Additional representatives are $75 each.
 
Q. What is the Vendor Parade?
A. The vendor parade introduces each company to attendees and gives you 1-2 minutes to address the group and share your company’s products or services. This is a great opportunity to invite attendees back to your table to learn more.
 
Q. Is a door prize required?
A. No, we will not be facilitating a door-prize giveaway. Should you wish to have a giveaway, collect contact information and contact the winner on your own.
 
*Vendor Showcase spots are limited and sponsors must register to reserve their complimentary spots. 

MTA Conference & Expo

More than 1,000 township officials, employees, and board/commission members from across the state will gather at the year’s most important educational and networking event, MTA’s Annual Conference & Expo

Conference sponsorship opportunities (some sponsorship levels include a free Expo booth, attendee lists, attendance at the event, etc.) and Conference program advertising options are geared toward giving your company the most “bang for your buck.” Sponsorship opportunities are available in the fall each year. 

The two-day Expo is held during the Conference and gives you one-on-one access to township leaders in a short amount of time. Stay tuned for Expo registration information in January!
