Harold Koviak, supervisor of Burt Township (Cheboygan Co.), will lead the Association as 2025 MTA president, following his election to the position at MTA’s Annual Educational Conference & Expo this week in Grand Rapids. Joining Koviak on the MTA Executive Committee are: Kevin Beeson, Pine River Township (Gratiot
Co.) supervisor, as first vice president; Malinda Cole-Crocker, Buchanan Charter Township (Berrien Co.) supervisor, as second vice president; Marvin Radtke Jr., Green Lake Township (Grand Traverse Co.) supervisor, as treasurer; Glenn Rowley, Bangor Charter Township (Bay Co.) supervisor, as secretary; Connie Cargill, Golden Township (Oceana Co.) treasurer, as immediate past president; and Matt Beattie, Boon Township (Wexford Co.) supervisor, as member-at-large.
In addition, three new MTA Board members were elected at caucus elections held at the conference: Emma Radatovich, Bear Creek Township (Emmet Co.) clerk, representing MTA District 5; Jerry VanderRoest, Charleston Township (Kalamazoo Co.) supervisor, representing MTA District 19, and Donald Boynton Jr., Van Buren Charter Township (Wayne Co.) trustee, representing MTA District 25.
