Lewandowski re-elected to Michigan Townships Association Board of Directors

Robert Lewandowski, Port Huron Charter Township (St. Clair Co.) supervisor, will continue to serve on the Michigan Townships Association Board of Directors as director of MTA District 18, which encompasses Sanilac and St. Clair Counties. Lewandowski was re-elected to the position by his township peers at a caucus election during the Association’s 2025 Annual Educational Conference & Expo earlier this month in Grand Rapids.

A life-long Port Huron Charter Township resident, Lewandowski has served his hometown for nearly 30 years. After serving as township constable for over a decade, he was first elected supervisor in 2008. He is vice chair of the St. Clair County MTA Chapter and president of the St. Clair County Township Supervisors Association. In addition, Lewandowski is chair of the St. Clair County Road and Bridge Advisory Commission, and has been a member of the St. Clair County Economic Development Alliance since 2023. He has served on the Flagship Credit Union Board of Directors since 1998.

Lewandowski aims to continue to use his experiences serving residents and township government to help the Association serve its members. “I like the ability to help residents when I can, to help other township officials with knowledge that I have learned through the years, and with that knowledge, help the MTA Board make decisions to better the organization,” he said.
