Mika Meyers PLC is seeking an attorney with 3–8 years of experience to join our Municipal Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in representing cities, townships, villages, and other public bodies on a wide variety of matters, including governance, land use, zoning, ordinance enforcement, property tax, public utility systems, and municipal litigation.
The firm is seeking candidates with experience in municipal law and excellent research and writing abilities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with clients and manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced municipal attorneys on complex and meaningful legal issues affecting local governments. Candidates will have direct client contact and opportunities for attending municipal meetings.
