As the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency continues its transition to the new MiUI system, townships do not need to wait for a mailed notice to get started. MiUI University provides step-by-step guidance on where to find your township’s activation code, and how to initiate your account and give access to a third-party administrator, if the township uses one. All employers, including townships, must launch their account by Nov. 9 when the full functionality of the MiUI system goes live, and the MiWAM system will no longer be available.
