Earlier this week, the state Department of Treasury temporarily suspended access to the Fire Equipment Grant Program application due to anticipated modifications to eligibility requirements. Treasury sent separate communications to those communities that had completed an application or initiated the application process. Once updated eligibility requirements are available, the department will reopen the application process. MTA will also share information with our members when available. It is anticipated that the original deadline will also be extended.
