About the Opportunity
The Township Manager is responsible for leading the following departments:
- Accounting
- Assessing
- Building/zoning/inspection
- Police and Fire Chiefs
- Public Works
- Township Engineer and Planner
Reports to Township Board of Trustees
Key Responsibilities:
- With the assistance of the Township Accountant prepares and manages the Township budget.
- Manages Township Projects
- Oversees grant applications and requests
- Work closely with Township Supervisor, Clerk and Treasurer
- Liaison to County, surrounding Townships and Municipalities, State and Federal agencies, Economic Development organizations, local businesses and residents.
- Streamline Township operations and institutes new technologies.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years in Township or Municipal government leadership, budget and project management, grant writing and application.
- BS&A Experience
Education:
- BA, BS or MS degree

- Commensurate with experience
