Berlin Charter Township is accepting applications for a certified Michigan Advanced Assessing Officer (MCAO) level 2 professional Assessor. This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 16 in the office hours per week.
This township assessor performs or oversees all work associated with the preparation of and accounting for and certification of the Berlin Charter Township property tax rolls. Work includes reviewing appraisal schedule and making recommendations. The Assessor analyzes property sales within the Township to determine property values and determine adjustments. This position also includes 2 Villages located in the Township with 4,888 real and personal parcels and 165 exempt parcels. In office hours are two days a week.
