Evening Activity
Just as important as the knowledge gained during the class, are the connections made at the event. Networking opportunities during meals and the evening social event offer the chance to connect with fellow officials, speakers and vendors to glean more insights from municipal experts. And, after a full day of intensive education, we know you’ll be ready for some fresh air!
After the first full day, we’ll encourage you to put your notes away, leave the meeting room behind and join us as we hop aboard the Bavarian Belle Riverboat. A Riverboat ticket is included for all full program registrants and may be purchased separately for single-day registrants. Guest tickets may be available for purchase closer to the event date (as space allows).
Enjoy the natural beauty of Frankenmuth along the scenic Cass River on an authentic stern driven paddlewheel riverboat as you catch up with old friends and connect with new ones.

Frankenmuth Cheese Haus – Michigan’s largest cheese shop with over 270 varieties ranging from chocolate cheese to aged cheddar. Enjoy free samples and a whimsical Figurinespiel tower show. A cheese‑lover’s delight and perfect stop for tasting and souvenirs.
